    Default Help! Serious advice needed!

So I have quite dry skin around my face, I use a mild exfoliator for normal to dry skin once or maybe twice a week, i always wipe my make up off at night and always apply a good moisteriser i use simple as my skin is quite sensitive. My skin feels soft but when i have my foundation on you can still see dry patches mostley around near and inbetween my eye brows. I have tried many things so please could you suggest some products(that can be brought in the UK) and cleaning products i can use to clean my face. Also my skin is a little oily around my nose and chin, sensitive, I get about 3 or 4 pimples maybe less and its also very dry please help!

I know how you feel I can sometimes suffer with really dry skin and I know how frustrating it is when you see you foundation cake up. Its's great that you're exfoliating regularly. If you have combination skin try to focus the exfoliation on the area that is dry and avoid the oily sensitive areas because this can quickly aggitate them and then you can increase your breakouts. In terms of cleaning you skin, you say "wipe my make up off" can I therefore assume that you are using face wipes for this? If I were you I would stop relying on wipes to clean your face every night as they aren't great for your skin. Use a nourishing wash with water. I like Origins Cleansing Oil or Liz Earles Cleanse and Polish. These will help to keep moisture in your skin whilst being gentle enough on your sensitive skin. Next moisturier, when I am really suffering with dry skin I like to increase the moisturiser that I use on my skin at night and I put a good layer of vaseline over the top of my night cream. This helps to really lock in the moisture. You do have to make sure that you only put this where your skin is try and avoid your more oily areas and really wash it off the next morning or your make up won't sit properly. Another thing is always give your moisturiser time to settle into the skin before applying make up, I like to put on my moisturiser and let it sink in while I blow dry my hair.
I hope some of that helps... let me know if I can help anymore!

I have the same problem. Very dry skin but some parts are oily. I tried many products to moisturize my skin. And the worst thing was...that even I had a very moisturize skin after using all the products, after putting some makeup...it was looking terrible dry.
After years I found some great products, and I feel like a new person. May it helps you too
First, never do some peelings. It will irritates your skin. Use just cleanser to clean your skin. I use Vichy products, the aqualia thermal and nutrilogie products. I never had such a moisturized and soft skin before.
If you want to put some makeup...use a moisturizer and a makeup base. Especially the makeup base is very important.
In my case, I cannot wear makeup without this base. At the moment I use the base from Artdeco.

I hope I could help you I know how bad it is and how much frustraded. Wish you the best to find your products!

I suggest you to try Oil Cleansing Method, do this 2-3 times a week and use shea butter as a moisturizer instead of commercial skin care products.
