Default Neat, stylish looks for long hair.

    Hey!
I have relatively straight hair to about my waist, and for school, the only practical way I can wear it is in a plait, either to the side or straight own the back. Ponytails are okay, but my hair tends to get in the way if I wear them.

Is it worth getting it cut short, like I've never been brave enough to do, or to keep it long?

My hair is relatively long as well. It's past the middle of my back but not quite to my waist yet. If you curl it in tight curls, that will bring the length up a bit n add some volume... you could try some really nice buns since your hair is long enough... try to make your ponytails higher up towards the crown of your head and maybe add the cute bump in the front... there are a lot of updos you could try... try pinning it up in different styles as well

even though you have alot of hair but if you put your hair in a bun over night and then in the mornig you will have like loose curls for kinda of a beach hair look, its messy yet cute and different and looks beautiful with long hair

    Hello

I think you shouldn't get it cut short because you can do so much with long hair and its the best for doing different styles . I have long hair nearly to my bum now.

    You could try ....

    a bun
a quiff and in a ponytail or just down(both looks nice)
    french/scalp plaits
half up half down (if you get what I mean)
    little plaits at the front
    curling
    high ponytail
    side ponytail

    hope these help

I think it would be worth cutting it to halfway down your back. That way it still has nice length, but is much more managable. My friend has hair as long as yours and all it ever does is gets in the way.

But, if you are super brave, I think getting a sort of 'cleopatra' cut with a bob (sort of Katie Holmes style) would get attention. It would be fresh and new. A friend of mine just got a cut like that and she looks absolutely amazing!!!

you could try putting it in a pony tail then wrapping your hair around the hairtie and pinning it. it shortens the ponytail and looks good.

I had hair as long as yours until i was about ten years old then i had the courage to cut it shoulder length it was much easier for me. Now my hair is half way down my back, its at perfect length because you can do almost anything with it:-
a bun, a quiff in the front with your hair down or in a ponytail, french plaits,
hold some of it up with a big clip, tight curls look nice too if you go out, or a wavy style for more casual.

    I hope i helped x
