I'm a red head and cant find any colours to suit me... help please :D

I'v been dyeing my hair for about 4 years, it started of brown, then it went red then i added black, then i went purple. now im trying to grow it out back to my natural red colour

i usually stick with dark smokey eyes but now i think this is a bit much for day time, and its also a bit boring day in day out!!
i know green suits me, but theres only so many ways i can wear my green eyeshadow trio, my green eyeliner, or my green eye colour crayon.

does anyone know any other colours that would look nice with my ginger hair and pale skin??

i pretty much have everything sorted apart from eyeshadow colours so some new ideas would be nice, and also a few good brands...

try some browns, and purples they will look great on you and just sheer pale lips!! gorgous and bronzey pink blush perfect for a nice golden glowing look, try also doing a smokey eye with the brown and purple purple not only will make your green eyes pop but look great with the red hair

i've always been quite scared of purples as i dont want to look like i've been beaten up lol but i will try it tomorrow

i never really think about browns either, but that sounds interesting to make my green eyes stand out too

no problem oh and dont be scared to try gold either but I have had my hair red and I have green eyes these colours looked great and try pearl eyeshadom leave the matte eyeshadow in the past

i have some golds somewhere, i went through that stage... i'll dig them out n see if i can make it work again

about the bruised thing, as long as the purple's not too dark and you wear it with brown eyeliner, not black, you shouldnt look bruised =)

im a red head as well ... i usually wear brown eyeliner, and then i just experiment with different colours, browns, purple as long as it isnt to dark or if you put lighten it with another colour, greens, golds are nice to just depending on what else you put with it...

Experiment with colours and you will find out lots of things look good you just have to try

I've been a redhead too,. I think warm colors look best: rich browns (I have one by Sorme called Cocoa that I love, and they don't test on animals)..also bronzes, peachy browns etc. I am no expert, but I don't think you have to limit the color palette you use by your hair color (just stay away from yellowish colors IMO)...it's your skin tone and eye color that you should judge by.

For example I have very fair skin (no goldish tones at all in my face lol) and I think any "look" that focuses on silver, very light or matte pink, white or yellow washes me out...

The colors that seem to look best on my lids are brighter than my eye color (I have very light, almost hazel brown eyes)...like purples, blues, and light shimmery bases (light bronze or taupe).

MAC makeup just recently had a line out called Blonde, Brunette and RedHead. It was a whole makeup scheme according to your hair color. I am a brunette but ended up getting the redhead bc I liked the colors a lot better. Check their site maybe they still have it available. The thing you have to worry about is clashing your makeup, you can find things that work for you like dark browns or a light creme color. Brown eyeliner/mascara.

try browns, and soft golds, so they'll blend with your hair colour, but still stand out
