i use a cotton ball and nivea face moisturizer.
i find within two cotton balls and a q-tip all my drag-queen make is gone.
estee lauder has a really nice one that i used to use that was a two part liquid. i forget what it was called. i like the avon creamy moisturizing eye makeup remover that runs for $.99 every once in a while. good at taking off waterproof eyeliner/mascara. a touring drumline i was once in required loads of black eye makeup. both do really well for taking it off. my skin feels better after the avon one though.
Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Make Up Remover.... it's the best... and it takes off hard to get off lipstick stains as well.... it's wicked... and totally gentle... you can even keep your contacts in and take off eye makeup at the same time!
The Mary Kay stuff is AMAZING!! It's what I've been using since I started wearing makeup. I've never found anything better.
The only thing I don't like about it is if I use it when I have my contacts in then it kind of gets of my contact and it takes a minute for my vision to clear up. But I'm sure that would be the case with most other makeup removers as well.
If you can't afford the expensive stuff, use baby wipes. They do surprising well and make your face feel super soft!
I use Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. Its absoulutly AMAZING! but it lies... it doesnt just remove eye end lip makeup, it removes tough waterproof foundation like a piece of cake! But if you are looking for a non-oily makeup remover, La-Roche Posay is the way to go!![]()
I simply use a cotten ball and then maybeline EXPERT EYES
i'm also looking for a good, medium price ranged (eye) makeup remover. i find lancome's bi-facil really good, but don't want to spend that much on remover. i tried neutrogena's oil-free eye makeup remover and found one of the preservative it uses can damage tear-films so don't really want to use it. so far loreal's gentle make-up remover for eyes & lips is the best i've used. from memory clinique's take-the-day off makeup remover is good.
keen to find out other good ones
Mary Kay Oil Free eye makeup remover is the BEST! $14 you only need a small amount like all their products
simple- its a mosterizer(cant spell) and is sooo gentle on the eyes and even leaves my eyelashes feeling softx
at walmart, there are generic makeup removing cloths. they work SOO well. they're the only cloth cleanser that doesn't rip out my eyelashes. I also have Almay gentle cleanser that works well on removing stubborn waterproof mascaras.
i use garnier complete cleansing cloths. it removes makeup and tones skin.
i love it, especially because i wear a lot of thick mascara, it works really well for watrproof makeup too, i used to swim competitively everyday and i never had a problem with these.
i can find them basically at any drug store or grocery store, i've even seen them being sold at wal-mart. the cloths also keep your skin super moisturized, i never feel dry after using them.
I know there are all sorts of good eye makeup removers, but Maybelline's Expert Eyes Moisturizing Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover (yeah long name...) always works well for me and is pretty cheap, like 4 dollars at the most. I use it everday (I only use waterproof eye makeup) and it still lasts me a long time. You can find it with among the Maybelline eye makeup, and has a pink cap.
I've been using baby wipes lately. You can buy them by the box for like 2 bucks at Walmart. They're just the plain ol generic kind and work great!
I've learned over the years that Mary Kay can be very harsh on sensitive skin and even has some undesirable long term affects on the overall health of your skin. However, the makeup remover IS amazing! I have also found Neutrogena makes one with a very similar consistency, so if you want a cheaper one, or just want to pick one up quickly at the drugstore I would reccomend this (also Neutrogena is number one skin care line recommended my most dr's). Honestly once you find something that works for YOU... Stick with it.. because everyone likes something a little different (also it is a great tip to use moisturizer.. if you dont get it too near your EYES otherwise it WILL burn, I use it to condition my eyelashes sometimes after using waterproof mascaras)
I use Almay moisturizing remover pads. I like them because I can hold them between my finger and my thumb to remove mascara. Remember after you use oily makeup remover, you must wipe off the excess with a tissue and then wet a cotton ball and use it to remove the rest of the remover.
soap and water..works great for me![]()
I use baby shampoo with a cotton ball, since it want make eyes water
and the make up comes off great
i use ponds cold cream.. it gets the mascara off my eyes easier then i wash my face with the clarins marula oil cleanser
I use Jonson's Baby Facial wipe. And what they say about it is the truth.
