Which mineral makeup is the best?

Which mineral makeup works the best and is the best buy? Right now I use Physicians Formula mineral starter kit because it is affordable and works fairly well. I would like a change though. Does anything work better? Does bareMinerals or BareEscentuals work? How can I get the most for my money and not pay too much?

What is the average price range for mineral makeup? I have not bought any yet, so I wouldn't know. What is considered "high end" and what is acceptable, price wise?

I did not know that Maybelline has a line of mineral makeup, I'll need to check it out. I like the brand.

I use Monave and Coastal Scents. There loose powder bases are more compatible with my skin than any others, and the price is right.

Out of the ones I have tried, I like Meow mineral makeup best. It seems to have the best natural coverage. And there are heaps of shades to choose from.
Other than that, I also like Everyday Minerals.

I work for Prescriptives. Our mineral makeup is one step and $32.50. One has to be careful of minerals b/c some get an allergic reaction such as itching. We are coming out with a mineral foundation in July and I hear it is fantastic.

I looked at the ingredients in Prescriptives' mineral makeup and I didn't like what I saw. Plus - there were so many!
I'm sticking with Bare Minerals which has been around the longest and only uses pure minerals. The cost is $25.00 for their foundation and it lasts a long, long time!

For me, quality is defined by the purity of the ingredients. This means not including chemicals, artificial ingredients, talc, fragrances, fillers, binders, or preservatives. That's why I like Bare Escentuals the best and it is 100% pure minerals. I don't think the other mineral makeups can make this claim. Plus it protects with a natural SPF 15 UVA/UVB protection.

I recommend Everyday Minerals. You couldn't pay me to use liquid foundation again! (I used to use L'oreal True Match) My skin has never been so clear since switching to minerals. Plus, they send you samples so you can find the right shade of foundation for just the cost of shipping (like $3). And you can get a 6 piece kit (whatever 6 things you want) for $34, so it's pretty affordable too.

That is great. I can only comment on what I know and have used, which is prescritpives. Everyone has different likes and dislikes as well as needs. That is why there are so many to choose from.

Bare Minerals is the way to go for mineral make up!! it feels and looks light on your face. You can't even feel it. The powder just blends in with your complexion really well. And even if its just a powder foundation, it gives great coverage. I've used it to cover red splotchiness, acne, acne scars, blemishes, and even dark heavy freckles. If more coverage is needed, just use their powder concealers. its only $25.

However, i have noticed that it makes darker skinned people look quite ashy and takes away the true beauty of their skin. I suggest darker skinner people to use amazing cosmetics. It gives their skin a better coverage along with a rosy glow for a bonus! the reason that bare minerals does that is because of the SPF content in the powder foundation. With that much spf in the product, it gives a white residue, which does not show up on people with fairer skin. mineral foundation by amazing cosmetics is a bit more expensive ($34) but worth it!! hope this helps
