purples will help
Agreed. Purples will definitely make your eyes pop!
purple is a good one, i have dark hazel eyes too, with a bit of green. but SINCE your eyes are dark, i would suggest using either a deep, dark purple, OR if you were looking to lighten up your eyes a bit and make them appear bigger and wider i would use a light purple and a light musty green like a khaki.
hope that helps![]()
I'm going to give you some great shadow colors, because true, purple and green will help you out, so if you don't mind spending a little, try MAC in Trax, or if you want a darker purple, try Fig1, as for green I would do Henna, now that color is limited so I would try a MAC store for that one or online.
I have hazel eyes that can look like different colors depending on the eye shadow. I use purple/green dark/light combos frequently. However, I found that a bold terracotta/burnt orange color mixed with slate grey eyeliner brings out the green/gold in my eyes.
I use: Stila Terracotta (the darker one) and line with Bourjois
waterproof metallic eyeliner in chrome.
Coppery shadows would also help, since it competes with your eyes for brownness. The difference (the green) in your eyes will stand out.
Green/jade shades enhance your eye color and plums/violets make the green pop and look more intensified! A blue liner under a green eye intensifies the green and make the white look whiter. Hope this helps.
Reds are also great for bringing out the green. I have hazel eyes and absolutely love MAC in Cranberry, I think it's a frost? It's a great dark pink/red mix with a great shimmer and can be used for loads of looks, but I love it best for a really girly girls style. I use it with a really light, pinky white for the base, like MAC Yoghurt, then either use a mid matt brown (like MAC Kid or Quarry) or if I don't have enough time to blend properly, I use cranberry on its own along the crease from the outher corner of the eye around to where the crease meets the brow bone at the inner corner, then blend it up and out (leaving a space under the eyebrow to highlight, with more at the outer corner than the inner), then re-do the cranberry to strengthen the colour. I'd use the mid brown under my lashes up to where the lashes start. Then, add a bit of definition with a really hard angled brush, (MAC 208) I trace along the crease very finely with MAC Beauty-Marked, which is a really nice dark purple colour, almost black but with a gorgeous texture and shine, and i make a hard angle at the outer corner to join it, and then blend up and out very slightly, just to soften. To finish I use a little white iridescent shimmer to the inner corners of my eye and blend in, and along the brow bone to highlight. When I spend time on this and blend it right, it makes your eyes look large and very green, it can be great for early evening, and you can use the brush and Beauty-Marked to do some quick eyeliner if you're going out!
