Different eyeliners work for different people, you might just have to try a few. I use Mac for almost everything I use, however the Mac eyeliner ALWAYS smudges on my eyes... even (like you said) with some shadow with it. Try either a liquid eyeliner (which i know can be hard on the INNER part of the lower lid... and it also gives more of a "sharp" look) or try a few basic drugstore brands... I've found that "definealine" and "unstoppable" (Maybelline) work best for me. I also use the Mac blacktrack gel eyeliner... that one is a little more expensive, but ive used it for my smokey eyes too! the other thing is if you DO gget blacktrack.. dont give up on it if its hard for u to do... its TOTALLY worth it.. just find the right tiny brush and practice.. you'll end up loving it! Also make sure when you (if you) powder your face.. you get up under your eyelids.. chances are its smudging because it gets a little damp in that area... so if u have powder it helps absorb anything that might sneak up over the following few hours.. GOOD LUCK!!
I find using a light powdar helps keeping it from smuging...but i guess you can't really put powdar in your eye lol
Did you put a pencil eyeliner? Like the same that you put inside your eyes? If the answer is yes, it's because your eyeliner are too fat ( i don't know if it are the great word put, anyway.. ) Maybe you can try Liquid Eyeliner, i thought it's the best.![]()
* Sorry for my english, i'm french*
1) You will need a REALLY good sharpener, unless you are using liquid, make sure the brush you use has a fine, fine tip to make your liner very precise.
2.) To get a pointy tip, use a pointed or regular q-tip to clean up and refine your edges to make the point on your eyeliner as perfect as you want.
*Also, put the same color of powder [or a translucent powder] on top of your eyeliner when you finished it so the liner will last much longer.

I recently watched a video on youtube about keeping the line ron your water line perfect all day and they said that you shoul duse your eyeliner , and then useing a black matte eyeshadow powder , dab it onto the liner , this sets it and it does work for me x
Pencil Eye Liner Has Always Been Best For Me And Been Easy To Correct With A Cotton Bud, No Matter How Many Liquid Eyeliners I Buy From Cheap To Expensive They Crisp Off Even When I Use A Good Base I Cant Remember What Its Called.
Lol when i said bottom inner eye i was refering to my water line...
Maybe Your Putting Too Much Onn
Try A More Thinner Line On The Inner Eye Lid
And Put A Small Light Line Underneath The Eye Lid
With Some Eye Shadow
Then Maybee iff Thee Eye Liner Runs It'll Look Like Its Suppose To Be There
ii Have Thee Same Troublee![]()
Try Mary Kay's Eye Primer! It's this awesome little tube of primer that helps keep ALL your eye makeup on like ALL day!!! All you need is a tiny dab and it last forever!!!
I know a couple of people have already said it, but it's worth repeating.
Put your eyeliner on, and refine it to however thick or think you want it.
Then use a matte eyeshadow or translucent powder to hold it in place.
The powder holds it there so it won't run or smudge due to the moistness.
