My eyes water a lot and i cant get eyeliner to stay on what should i do?

I put on a ton of eyeliner because my eyes water alot and it tends to come off. Even with a lot on it still comes off what should i do so that i dont have to apply more eyeliner every half an hour?

waterproof. or maybe there is something wrong with your eyes and you need to consolt a doctor. also try not putting it on the edges of your lids, get a really sharp eyeliner and put it under the lashes, that way its not where the water usually goes.

You might be allergic to the eyeliner you are using. Try hypoallergenic and waterproof products or even a different brand. I bought/used a drug store brand for liquid eyeliner (I think it was Revlon) and I was happy with it at first because it was cheaper and the wand was easier to use...but by mid afternoon I noticed that my eyes would tear up a lot when I used it. I tried it again on another day to make sure it was the eyeliner, and it happened again. So I went back to the liquid eyeliner I had been using before (it was more expensive but I didn't get the allergic reaction...).

Also, do you use an eyeshadow base before you put the eyeliner on? If you don't, this might help set the eyeliner too. Hope this helps

Oh no prob. Ya that happened to me before too, I had never been allergic to any eye make up product until I used that liquid eyeliner. So it was strange for me too. Good luck

That's weird, that happens to me with almost all eyeliner products, my eyes water. It can be as expensive or as cheap as can be, and my eyes will water and it will rub off, even so-called waterproof eyeliner (I'm guessing because of the salt in your eyes when they water).

Try fluidline from MAC. It's not a pencil it's a cream kind of. It's great easy to use and you just need a slanted angle brush to put it on. Comes in all sorts of fun colors!! I love it!!

If you apply liner on your waterline, it's definitely going to smudge. I use Makeup Forever eyeliner. It's my holy grail eyeliner. It DOES NOT smudge for me. I would say don't use it on your waterline, apply it on your lash line. Also, don't apply a lot, because the more you apply the more racconish it will look, and there will be more to smudge. Good luck!! I know how difficult it can be for your liner to smudge. Go to Sephora and talk with a makeup consultant, they usually know what they're talking about. I hope I helped!

Well you can also use the Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye liner. If you use it with the Smashbox Angled Brush then it works nicely, especially underneath your eyes. It stays on all day and I think it comes in three or four colors but I like midnight black the best.

Definitely try Benefit's Bad Gal Waterproof eyeliner. It is a pencil eyeliner and is only available in black. I have applied it to my waterline before a 13hr shift at work and it was still there at the end...perfect!

i had the same problem i tryed so many eyeliners from top brands to drug store,i found that revlon pencil eyeliner stayed on pretty well and my eyes didn't water.

The best way is to go with a waterproof eye liner. I think you can get something like that at a local store. There are also some pencils that I have come across that are very good waterproof or water resistant. I will eventually develop eye liner for my line, but the best way to go with the water proof stuff is the big guys like L'Oreal or Avon

you know what problem i have sometimes? its ont always, but sometimes my eye will just water and keep watering, (whether its allergies or maybe my contacts are making it water a lot) and then i cant even put eyeliner on. i try to blot the wateriness and put powder on it but it doesnt completely work. maybe have to really blot/powder and wait til its completely dry. in the end i just put black eyeshadow over it but itll smudge after a while *shrugs* i dunno maybe just not wear eyeliner that day lol

Make Up Forever has a great waterproof eyeliner pencil, I use it on my bottom water line and it lasts longer than any other pencils I've used.

I use revlon kolh i think its called its the soft kind, it stays on pretty well.
Sometimes my eyes water if I don't put it on a long time.
Try some waterproof eye liner.

If your eyes are watering you need to change eyeliner. Your eyes are watering coz they are getting irritated x

Try Too Faced lava gloss eyeliner. They also have the foiled liners but those are water resistant, not waterproof. My eyes get watery once in a while but those have never budged on me. I've used Urban, too, and they're super easy to go on but they've smudged on me. =( The lava gloss goes on like a dream, though.
