Makeup Hints & Secrets..

I don't have many issues with makeup but I think it would be cool to share makeup tips and secrets. We all can share and help eachother.. does'nt that sound nice? lol.

I will start with a few of mine:

• Blush or eyeshadow then clear gloss on my lips for different colours.
• Chapstick on your eyes before eyeshadow
• Dampen the brush before applying eyeshadow

I have more.. I know I do but I'm having a major brain fart moment. (:

One that I use when lining the rims of my eyes with eyeliner, I heat up the liner by burning it with a lighter (and then wait for it to cool before using it). It makes it apply easier and I find it even stays longer.

to make colorful eyes pop more make your whole lid white with white eyeliner then put on colors and to see what the difference is draw a white line on your hand and brush the eye shadow perpendicular in the middle and see the difference it makes

ahh yeahhh yeahh i do that all the time lol, it works.

- to make your eyes look bigger line the bottomw 2/3 of your lower lashline.
- honey & smashed up asprin make a great exfoliant.
- use tooth paste on any zits to make the swelling go down and make it less red
- to soften your skin and minimize pores, apply beaten egg yolk to your face and let dry for 10 minutes, then rinse
- if you don't have electronic eyelash curler, heat your normal curler under a hairdryer before using it. it works much better.
- if you have dry cuticles, rub them with lip balm
- a great way to make your perfume last is by spraying it into your hands and rubbing it on your hair. your hair doesn’t sweat so the scent will last all day
- to get rid of annoying eyebags, put a metal spoon into ice cold water and press it gently against your eyes.
- for bigger eyes, apply darker eyeliner on the outer corner of your eyes and brighter eyeliner on the innercorner of your eyes.

i do the heating my liner up thing in the car with the heater...it doesn't get as hot...it works great!

Or you can get Maybelline's white concealer and use that all over your lid.

I Know This Sounds Slighty Mad. But If Your Going On A Night Out And You Wear Foundation,,Powder And Blusher.. And Want Iit To Stay,, Lightly Spray Hairspray On Your Face. (Make Sure Your Eyes Are Closed Though). And Walla.. Make Up Stays On All Night,, Allways Make Sure You Wash Your Face After Though As You Can Imagine Its Not Too Good For The Skin.

For a night out I like to use two contrasting colours on my eyes. I do the usual smokey thing on the top of my eyelids in a colour that matches my outfit and then use a liner brush to put a line of contrasting colour just below my lower lashline and do a cat's eye flick. It's really simple and looks really good.

i like my eyes really dark and mysterious so i put dark black eyesadow around the eye making it thicker towards the outer corner, then gradually take it up and then a dark grey in the crease, it gives a really nice cat-eye effect, and recently i have seen effy from skins series 3 with the same method (:
