Dark colors are in

So lately I have seen everyone wearing dark colored nail polish. I personally am not a fan and don't like the way it looks on me. I like bright colors on my toes!
Has anyone else noticed this trend? anyone into it?

I am wearing dark colors on my toes now. But just i really started having manicures i am into lighter colours, i just so happened try it because my friend and i agrees to try dark.

I hardly every have nail polish on, I use a nail hardening polish which also gives them a nice shine but I am trying to get more time to paint them pretty colours but I like dark colours too

I prefer lighter colors myself, but once in a while I get a darker manicure, just to have something different. Yes, I've noticed the trend towards dark... I think we still should wear what suits us.

Last night I painted my nails for the first time in a long time and I painted them sparkly pink, it looks so good, I am going to have to look after my nails a bit more and paint them all the time

I really am keeping the polish to the toes! I don't like it on my hands and don't really want to draw attention to them. I have bright orange on my toes today!! LOL

I have short nails at the moment so I prefer lighter colours as dark ones make them look shorter. But I might start getting regular manicures and try out the trend. I'd love to get some purple happening! But yep I have noticed it too

I only wear blue red and pink nail polish.One of my mates/popularist in class started a trend of wearing black nail polish and evry1 except me n ma bezzies coppied.The nxt week she sttarted 2 wear gold n silver nail polish and yet agen evry1 coppied nw she jst wears neon colour nail polish and evry1 coppies bt she started 2 wear fingerless gloves and evry1 coppies so......its jst a trend so 4get it ! it'll end soon u dnt ave 2 follow the crowd n trend me n my bezzies dnt did we ?

I have noticed and I am really into it but I have tried many colors some colors like darker purples and reds make my hands look older but some of the dark browns with glitter work for me.

i wear black all the time i love the dark colours but as i hav blonde hair it doesnt look to dark

I think the darker colors are great, but I'm trying to lighten it up some seeing as it's spring now.

I like wearing dark purples or navy blues but anything else thats dark is not on my nails.

If your not really into the dark colors but kinda want to test the water try doing everyother nail with a dark and a light that way you get a little mix of both.

i've noticed it too...but i think that summer's looking at red's and bright colours to be honest but if you go for a dark colour then that looks cool with mostly everything...whereas brighter colours are a different thing really...

i guess it really depends on your skin tone.
because my skin is lighter, so if i use a lighter colour like a pale pink then it will make my skin look lighter,
but when i use darker colours then it makes my skin look darker,

I love dark colors!I normally wear black on my toes,as I don't change the color on them as often as I do my hands.(and black matches everything,which makes it easier)But as I am dark skin toned,light,pastel colors do not work for me.But I think people should wear what looks good on them.
