how do you get rid of dark circles under your eyes??

hey everyone! im new here so i dont really kno how this thing works but i wanted to ask does anyone kno how to get rid of dark circles under your eyes?? ive been trying all sorts of different products but nothing seems to work ..please help!! thanks..

you can use a light green or blue eye liner under you eyes
or a grren and yellow eyeshadow helps.

hey, i have that too it's really annoying tbh i just use extra foundationa nd conceler in that area if u don't wear foundation just try and find a really good concealer that matches ur natural skin tone, brown eyeshadow tones (light browns) tend too balance out my dark circles and make them less noticable hope this helped good luck xx

If you don't want to use extra concealer or foundation, try a good face moisturizer. I know it may sound daft, but it works well.
If you put it on before you go to bed, and then wash it off with a facial scrub in the morning, after a few days the dark circles will start fading.
Also, try using white eyeliner, it makes your eyes look bigger, so draws attention away from any circles under your eyes.

i have two conclusions to this eye problem:
1. Try putting 2 teaspoons in the fridge for 10 minutes and then putting over your eyes for 15 mins, this will take down swelling and reduce darkness under eyes.
2. After that, use two old teabags that are cool and put on your eyes for 20 mins. Tea is a natural healer and will soak into your pours creating lightness in your eyes and reduce puffy tired looks.

try both of these and get back to me on which one worked.

A good thing to do is when putting on your foundation/concealer/powder
(Yes, i do advise using all three)
Blot concealer on lightly, dont spread it so it goes thin, but make sure it's blended in properly, then when putting on your foundation, do the same only blend it a little more so it's not 'obviously' thick.
Then when putting on your powder do so lightly..
and if you can still see unwanted darkness put on a little more powder with your finger.
This should make a difference, it does for me

Hi! I'm new here but thought I would tell you how I get rid of dark circles.

For photographic purposes I apply a full coverage foundation and then use a light reflective concealer/powder

For everyday purposes I use a full coverage concealer in the same skin tone as the bridge of my nose - it helps continuity of colour and then brush it lightly with a light reflective powder to set it.

The best treatment though for this problem is to increase your water intake as usually we get dark circles from dehydration

i have really bad dark circles too and i find the best way to cover them up is to use a yellow based concealer with light reflecting particals (body shop do a good one or either ysl) after my foundation and blend it in! and always remember to dab it on wether u use your finger or a brush to prevent any premature sagging of the skin!

dark circles can come from either two things...poor circulation or hyperpigmentation (darker skin in that area)...if its from hyperpigmentation there are products that you can find to really help exfoliate it and get rid of it...if its from vascular problems or poor circulation you can cover it up with makeup but you might not be getting enough sleep...try to get more sleep and drink ALOT of water...i know everyone says that but it really does wonders for your skin...ive also heard of putting preperation H under your eyes because it closes the blood vessels but i dont know if i would put something like that close to my eyes...check out murad skincare...they make some good products to combat hyperpigmention...you can also go talk to an aesthetician...they'll be able to point you in the right direction...i hope this helped!

I would have to disagree with some of the folks up here, yellow is NOT a good color for covering up the dark circles. It actually can tend to bring out them out, especially if you're fair skinned.
Go for something with a more pink fleshy tone, this neutralizes the dark areas a lot better than yellow. Also, applying a high-light shadow just beneath the eyes helps cover it up and makes your eyes pop at the same time. And the tea bag treatment works well, too. I have dark circles as well and I do the tea bags occasionally to help revitalize.

i have the same problem nothing i do works .. i just have to put up with it .

all i do is use a light coloured eyeshdow on my lids & a bit of white liner to brighten up my eyes <3 xx

most of the time, dark eye circles are hereditary, and/or caused by allergies, and unfortunately you can't do anything about them except cover them up if that's the case. but definitely drink lots of water and get lots of beauty sleep!

use a color corrector under your concealer: an apricot or peachy/salmon color concealer is the best color corrector for more blue toned under eye circles, and yellow color correctors are best to use for the darker purple tones. yellow is more available i think, i can only think of laura mercier and eve pearl having salmon correctors off the top of my head.

Depending on if your dark circles are bluish, greenish, or purplish, apply a cream shadow or lipstick (that isn't too sticky) that cancel's out that particulor color. And then apply your concealer over it.

Example: If you have blue-ish undertones in your dark circles, you want to apply an orange color before your concealer because orange cancels blue.

For a short-term fix, you'll likely want to use a concealer and a good foundation.

To neutralize the color you're trying to hide, you'll usually cover it with the opposite color. Yellow is normally the choice for under eye circles. What I do is dab a foundation sponge with a yellow concealer stick, and then pat it onto my skin to cover it, using as little as possible (since you don't want it too thick), keeping it blended so it looks more natural (sometimes if I accidentally put too much on, I'll carefully blot a little of it off using a clean part of the foundation sponge). After that, I put on a liquid foundation, patting it gently over the concealer as to not disrupt its placement, and then gently dust on a powder foundation.

You can also try a creme foundation over the concealer instead of a liquid, depending on how dark the circles are. Cremes will offer a little more coverage, though they're thicker, and when it comes to foundation, you want the lightest coverage possible.

for makup, my best suggestion is an under eye concealer. but if your actually looking to get RID of your dark circles, the tea bag idea is good. a the body shop they have an under-eye cream by the line 'kinetin' and you just put it under your eyes and it reflects light off of the dark circles making them DISAPEAR. its quite the magic trick.
