Do you prefer waterproof or regular mascara? I usually go for waterproof. After being caught under a heavy rain once... Yes, waterproof is best. Also, you know that it is safe to cry if you wear one.

Warterproof damages your eyes. If you are going to use a waterproof mascara go for a higher priced one as they are usually better, Loreal do a fab waterproof one I personally dont like mac mascara so i would not reccomend that. i allways max facto r masterpiece max its the best in my oppinion but its not water proof !

Lucky you! My lashes are black as well, but they could use some help length-wise, LOL!

I use better brands, and I don't see any damage from waterproof mascara if it's good.

Congratulations Sounds like waterproof is the way to go.

I'm a big fan of waterproof. It's great since I wear contact lenses and it doesn't move when it starts to rain or if I cry. I only use a coat of regular mascara to make my lashes blend in with some falsies.

Waterproof for me
Because I laugh alot and when I laugh I end up crying and I don't want mascara all down my face. But waterproof is worse for your eyelashes because when you think your taking off the mascara your not because it's waterproof and sooner or later your eyelashes will start falling out because the mascara is getting stuck in your eyelashes.

I have naturally long eye lashes so when I do wear it it's only a tad so even if I do get caught in the rain or something it doesn't streak down my face.

I have always used normal. I just bought some water proof to try it out but for some reason it irritated my eyes a little bit. :/

I can't find a waterproof mascara that actually works. No matter what it still runs. I don't know what's up with that. So I just use regular every day mascara.

I find that even tho regular mascara can smudge it doesnt happen often
like i play sports like ones that can get sweatty same with the girls on my team and most of us use normal mascara
i find it also is easyer to take off then waterproof

I always go with waterproof. i have reallt watery eyes and i find when I don't wear waterproof I always smudge the mascara into my eye and have it inflamed for 2 days

I tend to use the regular. I do have both, but I like regular a LOT more. Agreeing with Breenarose, that when I try to take it off, my lashes come out with it... Regular is just easier to take off...And I really like the brand LashStylist(?) but yeah...And the waterproof just sucks. xD

I usually pay no attention, my mascara tends not to run. But I've cried wearing Mark Make It Big Mascara, and had no problems.

And I've been out all day in the rain with Maybelline's Define-A-Lash, and it only ran a little.

I'm so glad that there are people that prefer waterproof mascara like me! If you find the right waterproof makeup remover, you're golden because waterproof totally trumps regular. I love it because it lasts so long, doesn't smudge or get everywhere (and I have watery eyes that are prone to allergies, plus I wear contacts). I have used regular mascaras before and they make my little asian eyelashes droop and lay horizontally, it's so awful for me lol, but waterproof really helps your eyelashes stay curled. I love waterproof Lash Blast and Volumexact by Cover Girl
